Look for a gentle breeze
A light, steady breeze can help fill the bubble film. Strong gusts can tear it before a bubble forms. Try a more sheltered place rather than opening your arms faster.
Try shade when the film dries quickly
Hot sun and dry conditions can make the film dry out quickly. Try a cooler, shaded spot and rewet the string between attempts. Results vary with solution preparation and local conditions.
Keep your feet and the ground in mind
Avoid traffic, drops, obstacles, and hard-to-see changes in ground level. Do not walk backward into an area you have not checked. Move the activity if spills make a surface slippery.
Give every set its own space
For group play, use clear stations and separate the bubble-making area from the chasing area. Wind direction can change; leave room for people to stop and reset.
